5 Vegan Spring Cocktail Recipes You Need to Try

The sun is starting to shine here in Sweden, and we’re already dreaming of sitting back with a cocktail in hand! Nothing tastes better than a fresh drink that’s also ethically produced, and so we’ve been on the hunt for vegan cocktail recipes that tickle the taste buds. Egg and milk free, these cocktails are blended to perfection and pack a real punch. You’ll also have plenty of time to master these fruity flavours by the time that summer rolls around. Time to roll up your sleeves, test your mixology skills and invite your friends over.


  • Rose and Lemon Spritzer

  • Fresh, floral and fiesty, these spritzers are a colourful addition to any dining table. Turn these drinks into show-stoppers with edible flowers on top and enjoy a true taste of summer!

    Ingredients (serves 1)

    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    2 tablespoons rose water

    50ml of vodka

    ¾ cup of sparkling water

    1-2 tablespoons of agave to taste

    Edible flowers to garnish

    Combine the rose water, fresh lemon juice, vodka and agave into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until combined, and then strain into a glass. Top up with sparkling water and garnish to serve!

      Blood Orange and Ginger Margarita

        Citrus notes and fiery ginger make the perfect match in this sophisticated classic. More suitable as the weather starts to warm up, this drink is ideal for cooler evenings when you want a little hint of spice.

        Ingredients (serves 1)

        50ml blood orange juice

        25-50ml tequila

        Juice from the wedge of 1 lime

        75ml of strong ginger beer

        Combine ice, blood orange juice, tequila and the lime juice into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour and top up ginger beer as required.

        Top tip: This drink looks best when served with a sugar rim on the glass! Dip each glass into blood orange juice from a bowl, before dipping into a mixture of granulated sugar and blood orange zest.

          Pomegranate Gin Fizz

            If you find margaritas too sweet and love nothing better than a refreshing G&T, then this pomegranate recipe is for you. Blended with a floral gin and fresh pomegranate seeds, the overall taste is light and not too overpowering.

            Ingredients (serves 1)

            ½ cup of pomegranate seeds

            25-50ml of floral gin (pick your favourite)

            Chilled sparkling water

            Splash of lime juice

            Add the seeds, lime juice and a splash of water into a blender and blitz. The seeds won’t be completely broken up but the flavours will be there. Fill a glass with ice cubes and strain the mixture into it. Add the shots of gin and top up with sparkling water. Sprinkle a few remaining seeds into the glass for a finishing touch!



              Cranberry Mojito Punch

                Is it really summer if you haven’t enjoyed a mojito or three? The cranberries in this recipe give you a dash of Vitamin C so you can almost kid yourself that it’s good for you, right?

                Ingredients (serves 4)

                ½ cup granulated sugar

                1 cup fresh mint

                2 limes (sliced)

                1 cup cranberries

                ½ cup fresh lime juice

                120ml light rum

                ½ cup cranberry juice

                Sparkling water

                Crushed ice

                Add sugar and mint into a pitcher and muddle. Add the slices of one lime with the cranberries before pouring in the lime juice and rum and stirring to dissolve the sugar. Pour in the cranberry juice and stir, before topping off with sparkling water. Serve over ice and garnish with cranberries and mint.



                  Peach bellinis

                    Nothing feels more luxurious than sipping from a champagne flute on a hot day. Double check that the prosecco or champagne you buy is vegan-friendly, and then get fruity with this peachy tipple. Cheers!

                    Ingredients (serves 6)

                    2 cups peaches (peeled)

                    ½ cup of sugar

                    1 tablespoon of lemon juice

                    1 bottle of Prosecco or sparkling wine

                    Place peaches, sugar and lemon juice into a blender and puree until smooth. Pour 3 spoons of the mixture into the bottom of each champagne flute, before topping up with the sparkling wine.

                    Top tip: Check the label for a vegan-friendly wine. Our favourites are San Leo Prosecco, Tesco Finest English Sparkling Brut or Giol Prosecco Frizzante.
